August 24, 2007- After 20 years of Service to the City of Newburgh Fire Department, Deputy Chief Glenn Burres worked his last day. At 4 o'clock he left his office for the last time and headed down to his sending off.

Friends, Family, and his Brothers from the firehouse met him at Shamus' Pub on Washington St to give him a proper goodbye. He was presented an axe with his name, and dates of service engraved on it so he will never forget his old friends.

We all wish Glenn good luck on all of his future endevors!
