June 28, 2008- An Alarm of Fire was transmitted for Box 411 at 251-253 First St at 0307 hrs. Upon arrival companies found fire on the south west corner, 1st and 2nd floors of a 60’x 40’ 2 story wood frame vacant. Truck 1 forced entry into the building and vented roof. Engine 1 stretched 1 ¾” line to the rear of the building to extinguish exterior fire and 1st floor. Engine 3 stretched 1 ¾” line to 2nd floor rear bedroom. Engine 10 was requested to the scene to assist crews. Orange Lake Engine and Coldenham Truck were placed on standby to cover the city. One firefighter was injured. Fire is deemed suspicious at this time. Fire was extinguished and companies took up at 0503hrs.
