January 1, 2008- Engine 3 and Truck 1 were dispatched to a report of a 2 car MVA I/F/O 812 South St at 0527 hrs. Vehicle #1 was traveling at a high rate of speed traveling north-west on South St when it struck Vehicle #2. Vehicle #1 traveled another 150-200 yards from the accident in to Goodwill Fire District. NFD extricated 3 victims from Vehicle # 2 while Goodwill Fire Dist worked on Vehicle #1. Newburgh City PD, Newburgh Town PD, NY State Police were also on the scene. Patients were transported by Mobile Life Support and Town of Newburgh VAC. Companies were in service at 0628 hrs.
